About Me:

I am based in Dublin but originally I’m from Co.Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. While becoming a Chemical and Bioprocess Engineer I played International rugby with Ireland and went to the Paris 2024 Olympic games. I really enjoy baking and going home to the farm.

Recently I competed at the Paris 2024 Olympics in Rugby 7’s. I have combined my academic and athletic careers to get the best out of both worlds. Enjoying both journeys to become an Olympian and PhD research student.

My Work:

My Typical Day:

I wake up at 7am to have breakfast and go to the gym. I get to work at 9am, where I do experiments in the lab. Then I have lunch with friends, and in the afternoon it’s back to the lab to start/end more experiments and then do some data analysis in the office. I go home at 5pm and then go to club rugby training.
What I'd do with the prize money:

I would use the money to go around schools in person and hold a STEM fun session with students and create prizes for them.
